Youngsters key to Zimbabwe’s qualification for CWC 2023.

I am a believer and believe that Zimbabwe will walk to 2023 World Cup without playing the qualifiers. Don’t ask me how, am not interested in that, I am one of biggest supporters of Zimbabwe Cricket.

We grew up being told that faith moves mountains and I have so much faith that we will qualify and we will start the journey by beating Bangladesh 3 nil at home.

This series we will be in a no nonsense mood and will hand BanglaTigers a massive thrash.

It has been ages since youngsters graduated to the National Team with so much hunter for success and this time, it’s not 1 or 2 but a group of talented and hungry youngsters.

Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wesley Madhevere, Milton Shumba and Dion Myers are the young guns, after playing for Under 19s all debuted as teenagers and are eager to excel.

These youngsters with the support of Taylor and Blessing Muzarabani are the key to World Cup Selection.

My belief in these youngsters is that they are used to losing like the seniors and they are not afraid of spinners like others who we have seen being bowled by nothing balls because of fear.

In any country, the revolution is led by youngsters who have different perspective of life. And I hope these youngsters will take it upon themselves to resurrect Zimbabwe Cricket.

Seniors have accepted that we are a bad side and there is no backlash even if we lose, am hoping that mentality isn’t in the youngsters and they fight for our place at the top table.

This series is a decisive series for Zimbabwe as the youngsters will show whether they have what it takes to change the culture or they have since joined the losing culture!

Let the Banglawash begin!
